I want to return a Product purchased here. What do I have to do?
We hope you are delighted with your purchase from Shannon Duty Free and Shannon Irish Design Store however we understand if you may wish to return any or all of the Products. You can return Products if you are not satisfied or if you change your mind within 21 days of receipt. Returns must be unused or unworn, in the state you received them and in the original packaging. The Return Procedure is set out below.
Right of withdrawal
If you are not satisfied with the Products you received or have simply changed your mind about purchasing them after we have e-mailed you your Order Confirmation, you can return them within 21 calendar days of delivery of the Products and get a refund, provided that you return the Products to us according to the procedure indicated below This is a right of withdrawal that you can exercise without penalty and without giving any reason.
Please note that while the Products remain in your possession you are responsible for keeping them safe, secure and in good condition. In case of returns for change of mind (right of withdrawal), you will be fully reimbursed. However you will be responsible for the shipping costs which you incur in returning the item.
You have no right of withdrawal for Products that you have asked us to customise (for example with bespoke colours, materials, monograms) except in case they are faulty.
Legal guarantee for faulty goods
A product is "faulty" if received damaged or where a manufacturing or material fault occurs. Please note that Products damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty. You can return faulty Products and you are entitled to a full refund, including any shipping costs, as applicable.
If you have received a wrong (different than displayed) or damaged item you can return it within 28 days from the shipping date. Please follow the standard return process as set out below and select 'Item was defective' as return reason.
How to make a return
Please mail email@example.com with the following information.
- Order Number,
- Product Details
- Reason for Return e.g. Change of Mind (within 21 days) or Defective Product (within 28 days) or state other reason (within 21 days)
- You will receive a reply email within 24 Hours with a Returns Number and details of where to return the product.
- Please outline if a Replacement Product OR a Refund is required.
- Please arrange for Product to be delivered to the address provided.
- If the Product is defective, the cost of postage will be refunded to you.
- If the Return is due to a change of Mind postage will not be refunded to you.
We will provide a refund if you are not completely happy with your purchase if:
- It has been returned (either by post or in store) within 21 days of receipt along with proof of purchase.
- It is in the same condition as when purchased, this means returning the item to us in its original condition, unused, in its original packaging, with original tags still attached.
- Cosmetics or beauty products must be entirely unopened with original packaging intact.
Once we have received the returned item(s) we will consider the condition of the goods being returned before authorising refunds or exchanges. After we have accepted your returned items, we will reimburse the price you paid to your original credit or debit card within 5 working days.
